Pilaros: The Taste of Danforth

So begins my eventful holiday! :D

Today, again after work (hate working on Sats), my sis and I went to The Taste of Danforth festival.

Basically, it's a street (Danforth st. :P) that has tons of restaurants, specialty stores, trinkets, etc..

From Broadview to Pape Station

We arrive around 2.20pm-ish and my oh my!! It was crazily crowded. 

By then I was starving and was eyeing all the food!!! 

I basically ate the day away.. :(

But it's alright, considering I sweated a whole lot.. 

Today is hot!!

Besides food, there's also rides for kids, performances and other stuff too.

But that didn't really interest me as much.. :S 

One of the most awesome things I ate was the Calamari  

However, the line took forever.. stood a good 20 minutes (yes I timed it) under the sun just for this. :O

But so worth it.. sorta..

I also had the BEST souvlaki chicken and garlic shrimp I've ever eaten! yum!

And this, Greek fries!

All in all, the experience and food was nice.
My only complaint, the bees... D: D: D: 

If anyone is planning on going, I totally recommend it!  

Go hungry, with sunblock, and cash. 

And you can expect to come out: full, tan, a few bucks short... and happy :)
